MEET YOUR COACHES
Train4 is led by Nathan Carter, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt with martial arts experience dating back to 1998. The coaching team brings experience across adult, kids, women’s and MMA training.
Get to know their backgrounds and ask questions before your first session.
YAMANTO / IPSWICH
Parking is available at the academy. Please drive carefully and supervise children in the carpark.
No. Beginners are welcome. Tell the coach you’re new so they can help you settle in.
Core Jiu-Jitsu is a practical starting point for adults. Kids join the appropriate age group. If you’re unsure, let the team know when booking and we’ll help you choose.
Bring clean training clothes, a water bottle and shoes for off the mats. For NoGi, wear a rash guard or fitted top and shorts without open pockets, buttons or zips. Keep nails short and gear clean.
The academy has Gis for people getting started. Ask the team before your first class about availability and any hire arrangements.
Yes. Please give children space to learn without coaching from the sidelines. Children who are not training must be supervised by a parent or carer.
There is a changing room, lockers and three toilets. Wear shoes off the mats and in the toilets. Coffee and an infrared sauna are also available; ask the team about service hours and bookings.
